Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. is proud to support the residents of DeSoto County for over twenty years, providing help and creating hope and serving all individuals and families. Our staff members have a collective 68 years of of experience with Catholic Charities, bringing expertise and commitment to helping the people of Arcadia and the surrounding areas.
Our goal is to fight poverty, strengthen families, and build communities. We do so through programs and services that are human dignity and enhance the quality of life for all persons.
Catholic Charities has consistently achieved a high rating from Charity Navigator for sound fiscal Management and commitment to accountability and transparency. We have been accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and recognized as an outstanding human service provider.
We offer Financial Assistance to all in need with helping to pay for rent, mortgage, lights and water. Along with providing assistance with food weekly to the residents of DeSoto County.
