JimSpace Design Day Kick Off Event
On Thursday, January 29, 2015, the architects and designers from Leathers & Associates will be traveling between the schools of DeSoto County conducting brainstorming sessions with our youth and gathering their drawings to get their ideas for the design elements for the new JimSpace play structure. Flyers should be going home with the children within the next few days so check those back packs. smile emoticon The unveiling of the initial design will be the culmination of the process and will take place at the DeSoto Middle School cafeteria, 420 E. Gibson St. from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. There will be activities for the children, you will be able to see their drawings that the ideas come from and refreshments will be served. This will be a great family and community gathering.
